Happy, but not...

Yeah, I know my mood says lonely, but Im happy too. If your the type of person that likes to stay at home, you know what I'm about to talk about, especially if your the only child. Are you the kind of person that likes to stay at home, but, every time you think of a certain friend of yours that goes out every night, you get a little jealous ( Read more... )

OMG! I can totally relate!

But with me, it's like I'm always working so I can't go out that much, but when I'm off I just stay at home! I wanna do something and I get jealous when I hear my friends talking about going to a awesome party or going to a bon-fire, etc, but I just don't do anything!

I did the same thing. I was really excited to see Pirates, so I planned to see that, but I saw it with my mom and her friend! I should of gone with my friends! at least you saw it with your friends!

Oh and btw.. I love your icon!

You have a point. I always try to think that another friend of mine feels the same way I do. Like me, she only stays on the computer, but it's actually worse. Me and my friend Melissa (The one that goes out every night) are closer than me and my other friend Jordan. And sometimes I feel super bad because Jordan sometimes says things like "I feel left out" and "You guys leave me out of everything." So maybe I guess I shouldn't be complaining. Matter of fact, I should call her tomorrow.

Thanks for the comment. It helped a lot.

Your welcome! ;D

People always think that they are the only ones that feel like a certain way, but it's not true. I always do that. I always feel I'm the only one going through my problems, but it's false. For example, I thought everyone around my age gets drunk/high and parties all the time, but I was talking to a bunch of people at work and a lot of them don't do that stuff and it made me feel so good. I was like, "Whoa. other people are like me." So, yeah, I'm starting to ramble.. lol.. anyway, glad I helped.

I'm also one of those people who just enjoys being home in the quiet without anyone...unfortunently I don't get to do that much (little sister, work and all)

It's normal to be jealous of a friend who always seems to be out at a party or the like, but unless you're the type of person who likes to do something like that ALL the time, it probably wouldn't suit you. I go to parties, and out with friends, but not very often, but when I do it's the best because I'm focused on having a good time with friends. The way I see your problem (about going nuts) you probably should just ask a friend over to hang out, or go somewhere (not necessarily a club or a party)

hope that helps some.

I get that way too, it depends wen I have moeny or not I really dont like having to depend on them to pay my way. Last time we went to see Finding Nemo (that was the last group thing), the next time we are going out is in a week to a Sponge Bob rave, after that its probably after school starts cause everyone is going away for vacations
