Ariel loves to snorkle. She enjoys diving in the deep, blue sea and swimming for hours on end as much as she once enjoyed sneaking up into the above world. Her legs've gained strength but are still nowhere near as strong as a tail. Her human lungs are weak, also, forcing her to surface more often than she'd like.
Every time Ariel leaves the sea, she departs with a sigh and heavy heart. She was warned she couldn't have both worlds. She tells everybody she has no regrets. Only she knows the truth: She'll forever be torn between her homes.
