Radon Gas/ Tubs anonymous June 5 2010, 13:55:05 UTC
Radon gas is a serious concern here in the U.S. - We have to get homes tested for it before they're sold.
- As for the hot tub question, I'll take a bath tub. I think hot tubs are over-rated AND they're a lot of work! Rob and Tom

Unfortunately, in Israel nothing is taken seriously and I don’t think there is enough awareness. I had heard about Radon previously
By someone I had hired in my previous flat to check for dampness (possible pipe bursts) under the floors and he also told us
About Radon, thought for us that wasn’t a problem.
However, turns out my younger brother worked in a place where Radon was a concern since it was a basement / parking area
with poor ventilation. Only after an employee decided to complain to employer and possibly sue them, did the Municipality
Suddenly wake up and revoke the business silence, making them move to a better location.
When I renovate my bathroom I’ll have a bath installed, I wish I could afford the stand alone ones, but I can’t. I did want a hot tub
At one point, but now I realize it’s not such a good idea.
