On previous forays through GO fandom I've seen much worse than adorable waifish bishounen Pollution, though, which is probably why I keep out of it for the most part. AND PEOPLE KEEP MAKING CROWLEY'S WINGS BLACK. I am petty and this bothers me deeply. On a personal level.

Hahahaha yeah I don't go near it terribly often myself, it is, as any fandom, kind of a minefield of awful. THAT SAID I am often a terrible pedant but I've never really had a problem with the wing colour thing, I guess since the limited decorations in the book also make his wings black? idk man as long as they're feathery I'm not much bothered.

The GO fandom is a funny thing. I saw GO fanart before I read the actual book so as I was reading I was like "Azi isn't skinny at all what is everyone on :|||", or something.

Though I admit I fell into that bishie-Pollution hole at first too. He's all NEW and YOUNG and Pestilence's protege and he just screams YANDERE MOE JAILBAIT TEEHEE. :|

But I really love your design. He is just so dirty and deceptively adorable.

I know Aziraphale does not get a whole lot of physical description but the fact that he is at least a lil bit chubby is like ... one of the very few things that one can easily infer? surely? you would think that would stick with people more

but yeah I mean I CAN SEE where people are coming from with Pollution being appealing in that way what with him being a pale thin young man who's all OHHH IT'S BEAUTIFUL MMM LITTER /WISTFUL SIGH etc. and I mean I LIKE HIM. But he is ... not a delicate sexy mysterious bishonen.

I mean idk when I think "sexy" and "pollution" in the same sentence I mostly just think of Fern Gully.

Ooohhh that is neat - the blocked nose is a nice touch, although a bit more sullen than I'd imagine him, because, yeah, he is pretty zoned out, in a mostly cheerful sort of way. I mean, he's endearing! but I draw the line at OHH SEXY LET'S USE PHOTOS OF A MODEL FOR THE ICONS ON MY RP ACCOUNT FOR HIM

Ahaha. While I am quite aware with the type of depiction you have in mind, I'd give people who use models a little of the doubt because models and anime characters tend to be the easiest playedbys to find. But the way they RP would probably speak volumes of the way they malign Pollution.

Oh, and if you haven't seen the entirety of that Good Omens illustration set, here. I feel that they're very faithful illustrations.

Yeah I can cope with that stuff with Crowley, up to a point. With Aziraphale I always have a lil trouble suspending my disbelief if I'm being asked to believe that he looks any younger than 40 ... idk, I should draw them.

I mean my issue isn't OH MY GOD HOW DOES ANYONE THINK THIS CHARACTER IS SEXY, it's GUYS THAT'S NOT THIS CHARACTER STOP PUTTING THEM THROUGH THE MANGLER SO THAT THEY WILL FIT WHAT YOU FIND SEXY; I mean I am sure one could write sort of unpleasantly accurate porn involving Pollution, for instance, like, the kind that is disgusting and leaves the reader feeling as if they need to take a shower but not in a good way, and okay so it wouldn't be very pleasant or necessarily sexy in the usual sense but it could be worth reading and probably somebody would be getting off on it and that would be fine? I don't know. I would not be all that surprised if it existed already.
