Fear me!

...For just last night, I, Ormi the bold, did hunt down and catch a rat with my own bare hands (well, I was wearing gloves, but only because I didn't want to get horrible bubonic-style diseases if he tried to bite me, which he did). One of our good-for-nothing cats brought him in a few days back and let him go *shakes fist at Roo-Roo*, and he then ( Read more... )

Saj has some hilarious secret plan that involves everyone we know. I expect you'll get an SMS about it.
Does that mean you got my invitation and you're coming?

Secret plan? What secret plan might that be? *whistles offhandedly with shifty eye motions* Yes indeed I am coming; I only got your invite yesterday, because I hadn't opened my mail for the past week due to the huuuuuuuge programming project which I finally finished on Friday.

Another Royal Botanical gardens party sounds grand (although I hope it's a bit cooler this year!) What would you like me to bring food-wise? I make pretty nice gingerbread, I'd be happy to make some if you like.

Sorry to hear about ongoing Sarah problems - I'm free all this week if you want to meet up and chat, or just talk on the mobile. I'm supposed to be studying for exams so I will in fact be procrastinating pretty much full-time :)

Gingerbread sounds good.

There won't be as many people at the party as last time, I'm just iviting some friends, and no family.
I hope it isn't as hot as last year too!

*girly voice* "Oh you big burly stud, you!"

Congratulations on your mouseketeering efforts. Hope you're well. :)
I'm not so good, but am getting better on all fronts little by little...

Have fun at Esther's party for me! (*grumble!Canberra*)

Hugs!

I'm pretty good, except for the looming exams and essays. I really, really, don't feel like exams at the moment. I'll be sure to try and enjoy myself at Es' party; last year it was _so_ hot, and the dress code was 'gentlemanly' (for guys, obviously). I was wandering around in a long-sleeved shirt and leather shoes trying not to sweat into anyone's lunch :)

Sounds like you've been having a tough time what with your illness and ex awkwardness, but if it's getting better that's all to the good!

It's Melbourne cup day today, and it's bucketing down, so I'm just sitting inside laughing at all the idiots wandering around in skimpy frocks and improbable hats at the races :) Hee :p
