I don't get the subtleties of British humor. I feel bad for it. I also think it's funny that comics make you feel British. The average American feels proud through some sort of bullshit 9/11 - military - football patriotism.

What don't you get? I've got to admit I don't understand the "british humour" idea. and haha - I don't think I'm typical in my appreciation of punch cartoons and not football!

Hahahahah they're brilliant!! I've never even looked at Punch before, but knew I ought to. Hahaha I love them, especially the cat and "unwind gently" one - everything about it is perfectly done.

I liberated a huge coffee table book of them from my dads old study that he's moved out of - i've got thousands! i'll post more but these were the ones that really tickled me
