so.... we're here :)  and I'm a little overwhelmed.  So many questions and no patterns and strange but familiar surroundings.  And droves of people waiting outside behind every bush to jump out and challenge me in smalltalk (that's what the little voice inside my head tells me anyways) :)

sooo... I had my interview on Monday and it went well... and here comes the full, overly detailed account:

I took the train from Hamburg to Frankfurt dep. 00:25 arrival 5:29 - saved money on staying overnight, but paid with grogginess.  At the train station in Frankfurt, I put my cellphone in the locker and paid 2 Euro for 24 hours... The English ( Read more... )

We have an interview date for going to the embassy (only I have to go and i might go alone in the interest of saving money)  It's been soooo long!!!!!  Soooo long that everything seems strange.  Also, the questions of where will we be living and what will we be doing are increasing in size these days...
