Since I've been making a costume all week, I feel compelled to share it. Almost no one watches Gintama, but Kyle's gonna dress up as a fellow character the day I dress as Gintoki.
I know the bottom of the vest isn't right, but once I noticed that, I'd finished sewing and I didn't feel like fucking with it. It's highly unlikley anyone will know what the hell either of us are dressed as. I bought some wash in hair dye that says it'll shampoo out, so I have something to make his lovely red hair boring dark brown. And his hair naturally does the spikey OVER 9000 thing in the morning, so to style it all Kyle really has to do is wake up. I also have to finish up the henchman costume and we have to hunt down something that's more comfortable for a man to wear than tights.
This makes me want to make an Okita costume since this turned out to be really simple to sew. I've been wanting to dress up as him since he's insane and carries a bazooka.
