Pretty good day today, first Academic Decathlon meeting. Dad just found out he passed his test to get his master's in poli-sci and Older Brother found out he was accepted into AP American History. Mmm. . .I liked it, at least.
This line in particular, I'm not sure why, but it stood out: Left behind like they were the first time, and now for the very last- symmetry of a sort.

Just stopping by from magic_carrousel. I quite liked this! I enjoyed the symmetry of each paragraph - the kingdom, the victories, and finally the names. That gives it a nice flow.

Funny you should mention amutualslurping, I am also a member and have gotten absolutely nowhere with the challenge yet. I guess we're in the same boat. Good luck! :)
