I am there alot, it's only an hour away and my best friend lives on vernon in Oakland.

Well, more times than not, I'm probably studying in Tully's, by the downtown BART station, a few blocks away. Pop in, I'll be the guy who looks like my picture, with my head buried in a book. :)
