The change of trend is something that happens all the time, but I can't help but feel mixed (i know that happen on KK side too) ^^;;

Well, you know, SMAP have been around for a pretty long time. I suppose a group can't be at its most popular all the time. They're still selling strongly though!

But yeah, Arashi is definitely in a lift! Two best-selling singles last year, and by the looks of it it's going to be the same this year. Their best-of even broke the million mark! I often see people calling KAT-TUN the most popular boyband in Japan, but Arashi are selling almost three times as much as them. Maybe KAT-TUN are more popular in other places, such as tv?

That was just a RUMOR. The media is now getting a little bit more creative with regard to SMAP rumors -- aside from SMAP to disband and Kimura to divorce. That rumor was originated in late August and has been circulated around the net since then. But as far as I know, they're still filming SxS and there is NO news or hint from anyone of them that the show will end.

The rating for SxS may have slipped from the old days of 20+ rating, but the show still garner the rating in mid-teen, which is considered to be a good rating in this day.

it is good to hear if it is another new gossip for SMAP
i always read that SMAP is losing their popularity but i keep on seeing them on advertisement (signs of not so popular? hmm i dun think so)
