You a Tony Bourdain fan, by any chance? Or just familiar with the restaurant biz?

You know, I went to a little college in VT that had about 250 students. During spring break, some groups of us went, seperately, to NYC. Without having any communication between us AT ALL, we all ended up going to the same little hole-in-the-wall one night. It was fascinating. For such a large city, NY is a really small town. :D

Oh, and this story's really good, by the way. And Bronze is doing wonders for your punctuation!

Just a fan of Anthony Bourdain. I heavily referenced his book, 'Kitchen Confidential' for the kitchen scenes. And I just now realized that I didn't really mention that in my post, though I did in other places that I posted it. ^^;;

Um, thanks on the punctuation? I'd like to think I wasn't that bad, but I really was. Bronze has been a tremendous help. :D

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I've only been to New York once, but it was an amazing experience. I'd love to go again. :D

Hah! I did the same thing with my Weiss Kreuz fic, 'The Sous-Chef'. Kitchen Confidential was quite inspirational.

Oh, and about the punctuation--you really weren't that horrid, it's just that when you're otherwise an excellent writer, mistakes like that tend to stick out like beacons. Well, to those of us who are anal about that kind of thing, anyway. :D
