Real quick update, we are fully moved out of the apartment, it was cleaned well but we're gonna lose some money for them to shampoo the carpet, so we're not getting the full deposit back, but getting a healthy chunk which will be awesome. The biggest thing I've learned over the years is to not intrude on other people's personal issues. Pick up the phone if they call you, but otherwise let them sort it out themselves.

It sucks to sit by the sidelines and watch it all happen, but really good friends are those who want to be part of your life rather than directing it.
