So Today...

I went to a yearly ‘20’s festival and unlike last year, I was able to get tickets to the Silent Films. Watched a Laurel & Hardy short, and Andy Gump short, and one whose name I can’t remember, haha. It’s a 2 day thing so I am probably going there tomorrow and catching a Buster Keaton short that I didn’t get to see

I did go today as well, lol, but they changed the movie schedule so no Keaton today. :( Dunno what short it was going to be. 2 years ago when I went they showed Keaton’s “Cops,” which I saw and was a lot of fun.

But either way, I had fun, the silent film presentations try to emulate the ‘20’s experience and there’s a guy who plays the piano alongside the films. Despite being shy, haha, I introduced myself to him, and told him how I appreciated his work. We talked about musical improvisation, our heritages, silent films in general, he seems like a really great guy.

I wish I was with you!Haha! I wouldn’t mind you being there. I went to the Festival alone, I know the story of my life. But one of the events of the festival was a dance, which I didn’t participate in, I mean, it’s not like I have the chutzpah, haha, to just walk to a woman and ask for a dance, I mean this wasn’t a club or something, lol! But had you been there, you being my friend, I would had asked you for a dance
