Sherlock(ed)

After series 2 of BBC's Sherlock was recently aired, I was intrigued and at the same time disappointed. The show seemed promising, it tickled my appetite, but I was not sated by what I saw. I blamed it on the shortness of the series (only 3 episodes) and feverishly sought out the first three episodes. I devoured them, watched them several times, ( Read more... )

I personally enjoyed Series 2 of Sherlock much more than Series 1 as I felt the cases were more complex and intriguing this time around. Sherlock is one of my new favorite shows! :) I love it so much! <3

I re-watched episode 2 and 3 today, and I have to agree: they were better than those of series 1.
How do you think he faked his own death in plain sight? They never really explained how Miss Adler did it in episode 1. Re-watching the last episode, I grew more aware of Sherlock asking Molly for help after telling her that he was going to die, so he obviously planned it all, but still... We saw him die, didn't we? And so did John...

These are two things I am still confused about as well and that I'm still struggling to figure out -- How did Miss Adler do it and what about Sherlock? All I can gather from Sherlock's faked death is that he had it planned, as you said, and that perhaps Molly is involved in it somehow too, but how did he do it? I have no clue. =/ It's very puzzling. I re-watched episode 1 and still couldn't figure out how Miss Adler did it. I'm as confused as you are at this point. I hope Season 3 explains it all a bit better though we'll probably have to wait another year before it airs.
