Over the weekend I made my very first purchase of a comic and a near full set of dice with pretty colours and swirls.

I have been a fan of the Artemis Fowl series for ages and when I saw it in comic form I had to buy it. It ticked all the boxes.
I think I found a new hobby :D
and this is just the beginning

Yep, it was in preperation/anticipation/hope thereof.

Primarily, I suspect, it was out of 'ooh, shiny' - but I'll defer to the young lass on the reasonings behind it, given I haven't actually asked.

I was impressed enough that she wanted to buy them at all. :)
