I'm not a visual reader (or writer) at all, but with your discriptions I can imagine readers who are, will have no trouble "seeing" what's happening.

I'm pretty sure I'm not mistaken here, but, were you not co-writing a fic that was loosely based on Lost? it was a Brand New/Taking Back Sunday fic. In where John was with Jesse and he dies on the plane crash, his sister is still alive. They land on the island [Adam was John's ex, he was now with Jesse] and Adam couldn't here and Jesse was hurt...
uhm...does it ring a bell?
