I think you'll get used to the sounds and block them out after awhile. I barely notice the nearby airport and passing trains.

I was suspecting this may happen, and may already have happened. The other day I pondered to myself why the train hadn't been past and wondered if it had but I hadn't heard it.

If the train goes past and I don't hear it, does it reach it's destination? Hmm.
