I just got my first tattoo. I got it on my lower bicep. It says Nu Xi 584. The tattoo artist was kind of a dick, he talked on his cell phone the whole time, I was alittle pissed, I had kind of hoped for sort of a more personal experience, maybe I just watch too much Miami Ink. It's not done, I'd like to get more; so to all my friends who are

No. The dude was a dick. Tattoos are a very personal thing. While it can be said that the artist should finish his own work, it's also your ink and your body.

Next time you want a tattoo, Sly or I can hook you up with a good guy.

There are some tat artists that won't touch another particular artists work, out of respect. Mostly it doesn't matter about who did it first, especially if you are elaborating on an existing piece.

Where did you go? A lot of artists won't redo another person's work out of respect... but the good ones will.

Go see Patrick or Vince at Bombshell. They'll fix you up and they're both really good guys.
