NGL, I'm suuuuuuper excited for the road trip too! =DDD It was awesome the first time, and it'll be awesome this time. Though let me offer some advice common sense (that I didn't heed the 1st time and looks like I won't be this time either): go with someone who can actually drive, because that relieves a bit of the pressure, even if you don't do more than 8hrs of driving a day!
I'm going to miss you too! But I'm really glad we're on LJ and twitter. Also, HOCKEY! \o/

Wow, a lot has happened in your post. Of course, I'm with the Philly crowd who would be happy to have you in the area for however long you are here. We could have a mini mini mini MMC. I don't know your other roommate, but likeaglass could make any place, any city, any event even more of an adventure so I am sure you will miss her a great deal. Keep us posted on the next part of your journey!

Awww thanks for your sweet words! I'll make sure to keep LJ posted on my status. I doubt I could resist posting as soon as I'm able to start looking for places in Philly. And when I finally move there, we should definitely do a local fangirl lunch or dinner or weekend again! =D
Dude that blows that you got laid off. *big hugs* But you will no doubt find something new and awesome to do whether it be in LA or Philly.
And more importantly, ROAD TRIP!! When I drove from LA to Kansas City a couple years ago we took old route 66 through California, Arizona and part of New Mexico and it was AWESOME. We stayed in a teepee hotel in Arizona!!
Eeeee thanks! I know it's all going to be really good! =D And SERIOUSLY cannot wait for the road trip! I know I've driven portions of old route 66, which is awesome. This time I'm sort of booking it back with a purpose, so unfortunately no time for site-seeing.

(it's weird that our trips west sort of correlated in terms of time, eh?)

It's pretty funny. I did for a second lament that you weren't still in STL since I'll be stopping there on my way back east. =D
