OOC: Backdated to the night they agreed to meet. There are days when Harry feels much older than twenty-six. He's currently juggling finals for his final semester of grad school, being a father to three kids, a husband to his wife, a volunteer at the clinic, preparing for medical school, and worrying about how Bruce will get out of prison. Talia would remind him that really she asked him out, sure she let him say the words, but in reality she'd asked him out. He shouldn't feel badly, she'd done the same with Bruce so many years ago - and he was a hard man to manipulate.

That isn't true. Once you understand who he is then Bruce is absurdly easy to manipulate. The trick is simply that he's near impossible to understand.

"Not at all - I'm waiting for you, impatiently, Harry - at this cute little place called The Prophet down near the docks. I'm eating peppers and waiting."

He's in the car a moment later. Harry doesn't go to the docks very often, but he's able to find his way alright. He's lived in Gotham long enough now that he can usually find his way around with no problem.

"My apologies for keeping you waiting. I'll be there soon."

Harry's curiosity is in overdrive. Bruce has a wife. Except, Harry can't find any trace of their marriage. It's pretty much impossible for someone with their kind of name recognition to get married without it being everywhere. Did he do it under a different name? Was Talia toying with him, and she wasn't really Bruce's wife?

So many questions. He isn't sure how many answers she'll be willing to provide, but so far she's seemed to dangle enough in front of him to leave him wanting more.

He parks his car and walks into The Prophet, eyes scanning the place for any sign of her.

The prophet is the sort of place Bruce Wayne might go to actually eat - and not to be seen - with its mismatched crockery and cutlery and glasses that seem to have been bought at thrift stores. Low tables close to the ground, cushions on the floor. Candles on the tables in an assortment of mismatched tea light holders ( ... )

Once he spots her, he can't help but smile. One thing he has to give Bruce credit for, he has excellent taste. Nearly every woman that Harry knew he was linked to had been stunning in their own way. He can tell immediately that Talia is different though. There's something about the presence she has that draws Harry in much like the moth to the flame.

He hesitates only for a moment before taking the seat she offers him. No one he knows is likely to find him here, but that isn't why he sits next to her. Harry isn't Bruce. He's actually extremely open and comfortable with most people. Even, or maybe especially, when he shouldn't be.

His life does seem big to him. Overwhelming at times, but isn't that the case with most people? Life is hard and it will crush you if you aren't careful. Harry isn't always careful.

"It's a pleasure to meet you properly. I'm sorry if I kept you waiting for long. Traffic is...well, it's traffic in Gotham." At least it wasn't New York traffic. Though at times he can barely tell the difference.

Talia just smiles, she waves for the check, and she keeps her other hand right where it is - if his whining repulsed her a little then his sweet little flush has the opposite effect. He's adorable, so sweet and earnest and wanting everything all at once.

"I'm aware - I hope you make the most of it, a partnership should be a powerful thing - it should give you strength you never knew you had."

She's not sure if Harry's marraige does that but it isn't her business. It's his problem.

"I'm not in the business of seducing men who don't wish to be seduced, Harry - It would be a waste of time and talent don't you think?"

Another smile.

"But you don't kiss like a man who is opposed to a little seduction."

That's the rub right? Not literal, though there is a literal rub going on as well. It's a good thing he's not wearing the Gucci swag. Those pants would be damn tight right now ( ... )

She takes it, of course she does - and she leads him down to the marina where the boat is moored - the Sweet Sally. It's a little yacht, nothing fancy, not the sort of boat the Bruce Wayne's and the Harry Osborn's usually play in.

"Should we take her out?" She asks. "It's peaceful out there - you strike me as a man who needs some peace and some quiet."

It's not the type of boat Harry owns at all, but he likes it. It's different. The way the restaurant was different. The way Talia is different.

For a moment he compares her to Max. Back when he left things behind for a little while, left Connor behind, and did his own version of running away. He found himself a museum thief to come with him, and in exchange for cash, she taught him to drive a motorcycle and what it was like to stay in places that didn't have five stars and room service.

Not the kind of adventures that Talia and Bruce were on, but Harry isn't anything like them. He's essentially still very sheltered from the world. He's not sure how much of his innocence remains, but he's not thinking about that right now.

"Yes, please. The city hasn't been peaceful in awhile." Maybe ever. He isn't sure. On the boat, he presses against her, cupping her face in his hands and leans in to properly kiss her. She tastes like good wine, coffee and sin. It's quite the combo. "You're so beautiful."
