All children need to have a safe, supportive place where they feel welcome and loved. Adolescents are not an exception to this statement. Before the adolescent years, parents are more protective of where their children are, and children spend more time at home or in supervised care. I'd love to be lj friends, and maybe friends in real life too! I'm moving to Berkeley in 32 days, and I'm going to be totally friendless, so I'd love to have someone show me the town if you are anywhere around there. And if you're not... well then, cool. I hear Cali is pretty huge...

Yeah - most definitely. I'm in Palo Alto (South Bay/Peninsula, between SF and San Jose) which is kind of a distance, but SF is pretty much a good midway point!
