What would you bring with you if you could only pack two checked items and two carry-ons to your new life, and what would you leave behind?

Things that are meaningful, a couple fav items of clothing, pictures, happy memories... material goods can be replaced or re-bought easily.

actually everything i own fits in one checked bag and one carry on. SCORE.

my computer, iggy rainbow, books, my maps, clothing (not all of it, but enough that i don't have to do laundry all the time), and my cacti. maybe my bike too.

umm, seriously, i would pack things that you will actually use. go light on the clothing and uhh, brain fart, the stuff you use in the bathroom. i just totally forgot the name. but like toothpaste and shampoo, etc. you can buy all of that in CA. go with things you use all the time, and are really attached to.

i would check one suitcase full of clothing and one suiutcase full of pictures and other things that cannot be replaced when moving.

i would carry-on my laptop and a backpack of more things that are meaningful to me that cannot be replaced via the local store.
