Why do all my comments get eaten recently?! T-T

Anyway, my family adopted a german sheperd puppy barely two months ago, so this really hits home. That aside, since I never find stories with pre-established relationships on the rocks, this is really neat. Will we get to see a bit more in to how they started falling apart?

Also, poor Al, I actually kinda like the name Bourbon. And I know how hard it can be to name a dog too.

This is a really interesting story and I can't wait to read more.

I want a german shepherd so bad...one day XD

We will see glimmers of it falling apart, but mostly this story will take place in the here and now. The focus is how they work back towards each other after creating distance between them, because for the most part, nothing big or bad happened...just life and their own insecurities.

Aw! Moonshine's so cute! I loved that you made him have a distinguishing mark (one pointy ear, the other drooped) and not just made him generic. I'm assuming that Arthur and Alfred's long, established relationship is starting to fizzle. Sounds to me like they're both falling into the old-married couple type of relationship. You know, the one with a lot of shouting matches, disagreements and not so much romance and sexy times. I hope those two sort it out. But I love what you've done with the prompt. I seriously cannot find a lot of stories about these two that deal with relationship-salvaging or breakup (God, I hope it does not come to that!). Kudos to making this sound so realistic!

Is't he just? XD That's actually normal for german shepherd's his age...their ears are floppy when born but straighten up as they get older. They generally start straightening around 3-4 months.
