Should Dems vote no as a block on Trump appointments? And should activists express their displeasure with them voting yes on some and no on others when they want to see a united front?

These are complicated questions. I will not answer yes or no, but will suggest the factors to consider.

Normally yes, but we burned that bridge a long time ago. I wish it were otherwise. And I wish the theory that behaving better made things better, not worse, were true. But we are in a very bad place right now where a necessary partner for what's best for the country won't play by the same rules.
