Better Practice Dummies?

Oct 12, 2014 18:47

Hey, Inui-kun, Yuuta-kun? Could one or the other or both of you come up with a better practice dummy? You know, one that moves! These static ones are just...well, static! I need to practice against something that can dodge!

I think you are asking for real people, Kenya.

Not many real people are fast enough to make it worth my while, Yuu-tan. But I have a couple of volunteers now, so thanks! ^_^

At 11:08PM this Wednesday you should go to the training grounds for 47 minutes. One time offer only. Just saying.

You would be one of those real people my cousin was mentioning, right? I will be there!!

Um. No. But I'm in possession of targets that can dodge and I happen to be feeling generous right now about sharing them.

Wait...so you're NOT a real person?

That depends. Are you thinking a rotating wing-chun dummy, or something more autonomous? Nii-san might object if you want robots, he and the other constructs in our cabin are living things.

Not something for sword practice...something for flexibility training, if that makes sense.

How about something that hit's back.

That will work. Not quite what I had in mind, but that works too! ^_^

Of course. You need to learn to dodge at full speed.

You want a construct? Like myself? To hit...

No, no! Not like you! Specifically I want something that...well, tries very hard NOT to get hit.

Ah, I guess I'm explaining it wrong. And I'm thinking more like tag, than hitting it with a sword. I need to work on my flexibility at speed.

Perhaps, if you could better explain the specifications... I just don't want something like myself to be used in such a way...
