Had to listen to a conversation on BART that started out being about The Passion and, predictably, went into Jew-bashing. It was a "I don't understand what they are so upset about. They are so..." which was then a 30 minute "Here's why Jews are no good." discussion ( Read more... )

I most definitely am in need of maternity wear, much to my chagrin... Everything, even the stuff I thought would stretch (elastic is too good) to fit is becoming uncomfortable, and all I can find around here is ridiculous-looking sailor-suit/frumpmeister wear. As far as my pre-pregnancy size... I'd guess I'm a 14 in US (I don't remember, but I'm definitely a 16 in UK), but that's only after looking at a few lame Web sites to find the conversion.

By the way, it IS your special day, dammit, and if jumping on the table and screaming it is the only way to make those rude enough to try to take that away from you listen, then jump away!!!
