Ok, so Kris is in town this week. Per usual, he has a million things planned. Needless to say, my importance is of low status. Ok, I admit it. I only like you because you had (maybe still have) some cool club clothes ;) It has nothing to do with the fact that you are intelligent, extremely insightful, wicked funny and driven enough to work for your doctorate. I really would have preferred it if you'd stayed working a menial job so that we could keep going to clubs until we're old and grey. Sheesh!

If your old friends can't understand how important your goals are to you, then they're not worth the time. There are plenty of people out there who do admire what you're trying to acomplish and are cheering you on. I'd write something more deep and thought-provoking, but this is my favorite song and I have to dance. heehee

I'm 18 weeks along, due August 10th. Only two more weeks and I'll already be halfway through this pregnancy! All I can keep thinking is, "Holy crap! Time is flying by!"
