So, Karma bit me in the ass last night...

The last couple of weeks have been crazy for me with my little cousins wedding (she's really 21), starting a new job and being really sick for over a week. I can so relate to your birthday story believe it or not.

Funny how those things that pierce our hearts as children stick with us.

I think that is why I try in so many ways to over compensate for the hurts and things I did not have in my life as a child with my nieces, nephews, and there children. I see my 30 year old nephew doing the same things with his children.

I was not in attendance at the wedding so I have only heard from those who were that it was nice. I just did her flowers and that was about it. She just wanted a small private ceremony with a few family members and we will have a reception coming up this next weekend. They will be moving to Germany in July I believe. It's just hard to believe that little girl is almost 22 and married now. Family dynamics being what they are it will prove to be an interesting event. Want to help me decorate and do flowers?
