this year, I...

Last year, I went to 5 different field excursions within a few span of months which stressed me out, stressed my family out, and affected my publication abilities. BUT this year, I managed my field excursions better, which resulted me having to bow out from a paying job, but getting a better one with less stress after a month ( Read more... )

Wow!! Boring?? Heck no, I think it's fascinating! The skeleton is amazing. I would love doing something like that. :D

The Philippines is beautiful (and the food is mmmmm). One day I will finally go and meet all my husband's family there. I just hate travelling, so I reeeeally need to psych myself up for such a loooooong trip, heh.

The skeleton is amazing.
She is, isn't she? I hope one of the bone experts get to her soon so we can know more about her. <3

The food is good, but I will recommend Visayas food, usually more salty than sweet as opposed to Tagalog. I hope you come by to visit soon--just be prepared to be barraged because Filipinos love the excuse of cooking and singing and talking until the wee hours of the morning when someone comes to visit. :D

Travelling exhausts me as well, honestly, but the end result is usually awesome. Psych yourself and load your ipod for the trip! XD

I hope they learn more about her soon, too, because that is really interesting!

I think my mother-in-law cooks the Visayas style -- she's from Bohol. She's an AWESOME cook! And yeah, I'm used to all the cooking and singing and getting together. *g* She's actually planning a party either in Manila or Cebu (not sure which yet) next summer for her 80th birthday, and I'd love to go but it's right when I have a big vacation/convention planned with my friends, argh. So I just don't know.

But I definitely do want to see the Philippines; maybe the following year. I just went to Europe for the first time and really had to gear myself up for that... and then I had a horrible travel experience on the way there, so now I'm even more nervous about traveling, heh. But it will happen! :)

Oh wow, Bohol food~ A party sounds cool, but a convention with friends sounds so awesome too so maybe you should go there, since the long travel might not be the best choice!

I can only imagine how horrible your travel experience is, I just hope it won't happen again! Especially since the airports and cabs here can be very horrible. O_o

Hee, fog! That's how bad it can get here... XD I don't mind it so much lol.

And woo skeleton! No buried lost treasure yet, though huh... XD

I've missed chatting with you too! There are times when I think about dropping in chat or even visiting LJ's but I end up focusing on RL, which has its tight grip on me. D: *GLOMPS BACK*

When does the fog usually appear in yours? Fog is okay but I draw the line on snow! I've never experienced it, but I already know I will hate it.

No lost treasure, no. *lol* Thank god, or else, we'll have problems with people trying to take over our project. We just want our information! XDXDXD She's soooo pretty, and one of the bone experts we work with just arrived to study her, hopefully~

How have you been?!
