Alright, so very eventful weekend this was.
Friday morning, we gathered back in the dorm to drive to NYC in Helen's car.
and yes, we're all wearing newspaper hats... we stopped by this restaurant where we walked in wearing it, and this old man walked up real close to us--his face was honestly inches away from mine-- and said, "we used to make those when we were younger... and i don't mean to hurt ya, but ours were way better." Sketchy? Yes.
So anyway, we make our way to new york, and i got dropped off at manhasset so i could go to penn station to meet my dear old friend skyler. Howeve, my plan was greatly thwarted by tricky things called cellphones. Mine for some reason had no reception in new york, and sky broke his by accidant the day i was arriving... so i ended up being stranded @ Penn station for like 5 hours, and met up with the rest of the bombers that night to go to Mike's party, which is where i ended up meeting skyler. Leaving Mike's house was the beginning of my adventure in NYC:
we went clubbing at Webster Hall, which is ironically the club i went with Maryann and the girls when i went to NYC last time.
Anywho, that night was an "amature strip tease" night, and unfortunately, i couldn't take pictures, but i assure you, we saw much more than we bargained for.
above is me raving away--pretending to play the guitar--and some random guy who walked in on sky taking a picture of me pretending to lick a picture.
and then the next day, sky and i went to central park to hang out and enjoy the gorgeous weather.
*edit* ok, so it's just my computer that won't let me post pictures... so here are the rest:
and we played chess and took fun pictures and what not.
then we went to helen's house to celebrate her b-day. She had a band and everything. We even had a beirut table--and yes, her parents were there.
and finally, this is me wondering where my weekend went... and also being in an empty subway cart.
