nineteen

It is just when all is quiet that I have come to the realization that in these times of peace...more are disappearing every day. Losing friends may be worse than any embarrassment the island is able to deal out, but at least we can believe they are at home, where hopefully they are safe.

Be safe Tsubaki, Yuki.

Kumatora.

Don't shoot me!

What do you mean by larger? Like daily life? Because I remember that sort of stuff.

Correct. To be more specific, what was the level of technology of your home?

Well... it's 2008, sort of. We have electricity. Tvs and dvd players and cellphones... cars and planes. And people have been to space, but not many. I think the farthest a person has got is the moon, but I could be wrong.

Similar to my own home, then. ...Do you know of Death City, in Nevada?

These disappearances are definitely not deaths. The release of a soul is much different. Your senses are very astute, Kid! Good job~

I am glad you think so, Father-

I still cannot help but...I suppose it isn't important. I shouldn't bother you with it.

Remember, Kid: incomplete knowledge can be more dangerous than no knowledge at all. Take your memories in stride and do not make assumptions.

Of course.

I am sorry, Father. It is just...I worry for them. I should trust Shibusen to protect them.

Do you know more of home? I know you cannot answer all of my questions, but...

How much larger are you thinking about?

ossesso May 15 2009, 01:17:14 UTC
...How large might you be thinking of?

I remember one of the more... important events of my world's history. If those are the sort of large things you're talking about, then yes.

If you do not mind my questions, what event might that be?

You are from the same period as Jr., correct? I have heard him mention you before.

Larger details like what?

As in, if this place bores you, then what is it that makes your home so interesting?

hailbeautyqueen May 15 2009, 03:22:52 UTC
Being able to crush heads without needing to worry about people getting all uptight about it for one.

Ah.

Uncivilized. I suppose I should have expected that.

I haven't remembered any very large details... but I think there's enough logical evidence to deduce that many of us are from vastly different places. If we really are all from one world, it must be a very large and diverse one.

I would agree, most especially seeing as we have neither Giant Robots or floating space colonies.

I'm sure Father would insist on one if we had.
