I want to like him Me too! I'm still missing Nine too much to move on. The only thing keeping me going so far is Rose. She still loves her Doctor and so will I!
I really thought I was ready to accept a new Doctor before the new season started, but I guess not just yet. I do like that Rose has come around so quickly, but what really amuses me is how chummy Jackie and Ten are now. *g* At least they don't have my reservations.
I never warmed up to Ten. But then, I haven't seen all the way through S2 (I got sidetracked around 206 and haven't gotten back to it). ::shrugs:: I think he's good as a new incarnation of the Doctor, he makes sense as that, but I just don't like him, and I can't say why without going into eps you haven't seen yet.
And the Dorklings need to stop being THAT DAMN CUTE. Seriously, it's dangerous.
Fair enough. We'll discuss this again in a few more weeks then. *g* I'd hoped that mine was just a knee-jerk reaction to missing CE that I'd get over after a couple of episodes. Now I'm a little more wary.
I love how literal kids are. When mom asked Kristin what kind of Sprite (regular or Orange) she wanted to drink at Burger King once, she said she wanted a Twink Sprite. She was only three, I think...
I didn't fall for Ten the way I did for Nine, and looking back at this series, I've had some issues with some of the developments. OTOH, I know some who love Ten. I love Tennant and think he's incredibly charming, but Ten just doesn't work for me. I'd love to hear what you think in the upcoming weeks.
