"Our lives are really weird..."

Yesterday was a long day. Started with an impression that I might have a gas leak. Checked the stove and water heater. All lights lit. Went to work, had Da go check it out. He reassured me that he can detect no odor of natural gas. I went on with my day. Returned home, discovered that you can smell the frakking gas from outside the house. ( Read more... )

OMG, the Amanda/Mark/Betty alliance was MADE OF AWESOME

Hee! Yes. This show is doing a great job of making even the dislikable characters, if not more likable, at least lots of fun. *g*

I was laughing so much that I don't think I fully appreciated the quieter aspects so maybe I'll have a different take upon reviewing.

I did for some parts too. Like how I didn't catch Daniel's initial reaction to Wilhemina showing him the 1986 Fey layout until the second viewing. In retrospect, I think that's when he first starts putting the pieces together. There are unexpected layers to this ostensibly comedic show.

And if you're not averse to spoilers....

Daniel's mother is apparently supposed to be in the Thanksgiving episode, so I guess we'll see what his relationship with her is like then.

Still an eppie behind in Supernatural (watched last week's last night while I baked pumpkins), I agree with you about this eppie not having much to it. I'm glad to see Dean struggling with his whole 'borrowed time' thing, and as much as I hate the guilt of John's death hanging over the poor woobie, it gives him depth that he didn't necessarily have before. I'm glad to see Dean on the breaking point, because it allows us to see how much of a toll the life of the hunter has had on him. *huggles for her new woozle*

Sam, I'm not really in to. But Dean? Poor baby...

Yep, Dean hits all the right kinks for me. And I think this week's episode was better than last week's. Less clunky, for the most part. I enjoyed it more anyway.

How do you bake pumpkins? And why? *g*
