Dorkling silliness for the day: The mei-mei has informed me that all of my niecelings have decided to be "boys" today. They are all dressed in their brother's clothes. Nieceling #2 also seems to be under the impression that calling everybody "sweetheart" is an intrinsic part of boy-ness.

And then there was Heroes. As I was illish last night, the show didn't make that much of an impression on me. Scrambled thoughts were as follows:

Why isn't the "interview" with Ted being taped? If it is being taped, why isn't Matt more concerned about telling everybody he's some kind of telepath?

Why doesn't Isaac just say "Hey, go grab that floppy-haired Petrelli kid. He can do this without drugs. He just doesn't paint all that well." instead of shooting up again?

What's the evil pixie's power - and why do I still not know her name?

Aw, the waitress is all kinds of cute... oh, but dead... I thought she'd be around longer... oh right, I keep forgetting Hiro can do that teleport-to-the-future/past thing... How does that work anyway?

How slow is Mohinder? They show the locked drawer and the mysterious key in the same scene and he still doesn't put them together until three "significant" dreams later.

Are the prophetic/historic dreams some talent of Mohinder's or is somebody else using their mojo on him? The little kid with the ball?

Haitian? Um... Haitian? What hat did they randomly pull that one out of? Haitian?

Why is Bennet convinced that Syler will take a crack at Claire on homecoming night? It isn't like she doesn't wear the cheerleader outfit five days a week anyway or never ordinarily hangs out in the school gym. Why the certainty that it's homecoming (ie "tomorrow") night? And if he already knows the when and where - what does he actually need Isaac for now?

So Claire is a second-generation mutant? Like Micah? Like maybe the Petrellis? How careful are the writers having to be to avoid accidentally using the word "mutant" in their scripts?

Why are there not more crossover fics about how all of these Heroes powers started kicking in so soon after all the Supernatural kiddies started having their powers turned on too?

And randomly and completely off on a tangent, how hilarious is it that on Jericho there was actually a scene in which the characters stand around and wonder out loud in exactly so many words "... So they dropped a nuclear bomb on Lawrence? But not Topeka? Huh..."?
