A wee double-drabble House-ficlet, just to get the thing out of my head.
Why, yes. It is exactly 200 words. And has my usual bias.

When a rare lull in their schedule permits it, House encourages his staff to take advantage of the local prestigious research facilities to broaden the spectrum of their knowledge.
When you're bored, you pack them off to the campus library.
Sometimes he gives them a few suggestions of significant and relevant articles.
You have them do your research for you.
Dr. Cameron always brings back every recommended journal in an expedient manner, demonstrating her exemplary research skills.
You'd give her a cookie, if that were the point of the exercise.
Dr. Foreman usually returns with most of the articles, in a slightly less timely manner, but has complemented his findings with the latest neuroscience reports the specialty librarian procured for him.
Great. Because what you really need is a neurologist who knows what every other brain doc in the country already knows.
Dr. Chase brings back fewer of the requests, it takes him longer than either of his colleagues, and his supplemental research is completely unpredictable - not necessarily from the most recent or popular journals, often wildly obscure.
He's inefficient, unfocused, and erratic.
But damned if he isn't the one who invariably comes back with stuff that's actually interesting.
