What is bodyshot? I saw it in a Facebook application, and didn't find the word in my disctionnary. Does it have something to do with photography (I know that the word "shoot" is used there), or is it about the actual shooting of the body? O.O In fact, it will only become a "body" after it's shot...

My guess would be photography-orientated...

It's actually, um, nothing to do with photography at all. Body shot.

OMG! *blush*
Good for me to check the meaning before sending it to anyone!

It's doing a shot of alcohol of a person's body - say out of their belly button, innit?

That would be a very tiny shot;-)

Er. Not knowing that much about drinking, I would have assumed it was a photograph of someone's torso. If you ever see the term headshot - that's a head and shoulders photo.

I first thought it's a full hight photo;-)
Thanks for the headshot explanation, I've actually seen this word before few times and always thought it's that kind of "control shot" that killer makes to the victim's head to ensure they are dead.

Depending on the context that the term is used, I would lean towards the explanation given by janetlin

Yup, that would be the right way, because if you know the word may have dirty meaning, you should always remember about this meaning, otherwise if you use the word in different meaning people would still think the dirty meaning, because people have dirty minds;-)))
