People seem to think there are compatibility problems with Linux. It's true that Windows can't see Linux's native ext2 filesystem, but Linux can use both its own AND the Windows-native NTFS and FAT. Problem with Linux? I think not

If it was made to be completely user friendly, 1) It would be able to read all known formats available. It doesn't read any Linux formats. 2) Security would be a higher priority. Security is a joke. Microsoft's head security guy said he uses FireFox and that their 2-year plan is more of a 10-year plan.
Plus if you look at Microsoft's other corporate tactics, it becomes evident that the main goal is to make money. They buy competitors' software and destroy all of it so that Windows is the only thing on the shelf. That's why they hate Linux; because there's no company behind it and it's volunteers and all open source and very powerful, they can't shut it down. And Linux is growing more than ever. That's why Microsoft won't support Linux formats.
