OH MY GOD I AM DUMB THIS IS LATE. HI, this is for the Super Island 64 event that's going to go from the 30th to July 3rd.

You know how Peach had a castle, right?

Well, it's here now and your character might feel a little... drawn to check it out this weekend. You know, poke around. Get stuck in a few paintings-- Wait, what?

Thaaaat's right. All the mechanics from Super Mario 64 are in this castle for the weekend! What does that mean for you people who never played the game? Well... it's really simple. (no it isn't I'm lying)

You've got 99 'lives' when you're inside the castle. That means if you fall off a platform, get offed by a bad guy, hop around some boiling lava, all that will happen is that you'll drop from the ceiling in the entrance hall of the castle and you're free to start over again. HOWEVER if you do die 99 times then the island will decide you're too stupid to live and you'll stay dead and come back in a week. SO YEAH DEATH IS CHEAP FOR THIS EVENT.

Once you are in the castle, you cannot come out until you complete at least one level. If you want, though, you can complete as many levels as you want if your character finds this sort of thing interesting or fun.

All levels are immediately accessible for the sake of convenience, except for the final Bowser stage. That is only accessible on the last day.

You can complete levels on your own or in teams.

All power-up items in the game work the same on your characters. You can get a wing cap that lets you fly, a metal cap that turns you into metal, and a vanish cap that turns you invisible. !!!They do not work outside the castle area!!!

IF YOUR CHARACTER IS SO GODDAMN HAX that they beat all 120 levels in a 4-day period, they do get a reward. Normally at the end of the game, you get to talk to Yoshi and stuff. If you beat everything, you get your own yoshi. It doesn't talk or anything like that, but your character can... uh... ride it everywhere if they want?? Awesome. Look at all the bitchin' colors they come in. And yes it is yours to keep forever unless you do something dumb like get it killed

Also if you beat at least 70 you get a cake!

THIS IS WHERE I DESCRIBE THE LEVELS

... only that sounds really tedious and I doubt I could summarize them that well at all. Fortunately, other people have organized the levels with information, links, and all that good stuff. However, I know you good people don't want to plow through all those so I'll add in summaries as well.

Bob-omb Battlefield. Standard first level. Easiest, simple, to the point.
Whomp's Fortress is just like the above except with whomps. Also there's a lot of climbing.
Jolly Roger Bay has a gigantic nightmarish eel that will chase your characters around. Also the level is PRETTY MUCH all underwater.
Cool, Cool Mountain is obligatory Ice Level 1 and you can do cool stuff like kick baby penguins off cliffs and pretty much never be able to walk straight anywhere ever.
Big Boo's Haunt is the haunted house level but luckily nowhere near as scary as our actual recurring haunted house.
Hazy Maze Cave is a hazy cave that is also a maze. I am pretty sure you can get yourself gassed to death in there!
Lethal Lava Land is the only place with lava where you can jump in and possibly make it out alive again.
Shifting Sand Land really hopes you fucking love quicksand all up in your face because it will be.
Dire, Dire Docks is the second water level and has a higher probability of drowning but less eels.
Snowman's Land (HAHA GET IT) is the second ice level and has a higher probability of hypothermia but less baby penguins.
Wet-Dry World will make you go WHY IS THERE A THIRD WATER LEVEL it also has a lit of switches so here's your puzzle level kids!
Tall Tall Mountain is a ... tall ... tall... mountain.
Tiny-Huge Island is essentially two paintings that lead to the same level, but if you go in one, you come out huge, and if you go in the other, you're small! Oh the hilarity!
Tick Tock Clock you now have the Ke$ha song stuck in your head, you're welcome
Rainbow Ride made you angry in Mario Kart, it's here to make you angry again.
Here is a helpful link of all the levels!

You also get some secret levels, like the slide and a big box of water.

AND OF COURSE BOSS LEVELS. Since I'm not going to NPC Bowser, pretend these are all some fake mecha Bowsers that look and talk exactly like the real one but aren't. First, second, third. Remember, you can't take on number 3 until the last day!

... Okay, this is the most unhelpful post. But that's what questions are for! If anything needs clarifying, explaining, so on, I'll do my best! Also, please feel free to post outside of this event while it's taking place (not that you guys ever need to be reminded about that!), since your characters can interact well outside of it since it's far from mandatory.

THAT'S ALL.
