Yes Miss Ho-sha-coo-gee? And no Miss Ho-sha-coo-gee, although Takuma has many of them. But... I don't know what a show-joe manga is.

Whhhhat? How tragic! You don't know what they are!

Every girl should have one!
[Renge think she might faint form this newly acquired information. How many youths have been denied this?]

Really?

Yes, yes.

They're just liek a book, except lighter. Though it can cover a lot in one book. Though when you get to the end you have to read the next installment on what happens. It gets me so excited when a new issue goes out. Plus, it illustrated the stories in beautiful artwork!

Do you read a lot, Alice? I have some pretty light romance manga you would probably like. Oh oh...or!

[Flips through her collection on the dreamberry.]

Maybe a fantasy adventure one?

Manga? What's that?

Really? How many people don't know what a manga is. This is so heart breaking!

Well, it's basically like a comic book, except ten times better! It covers all sorts of subjects. Especially in romance, which happens a lot on shojo manga.

A comic book? So it's just a story with a lot of pictures.

What?

...shojo manga...?

[Don't mind her. Her name is also Alice C:. And oh shi-- that sounds familiar. Tamaki mentioned that to her after they had a small talk about romance books didn't he?]

[Waves one of the manga's around that has a pretty busy cover with flowers on it and boy and girl laying in them. It's so moooooooooooooe. <3]

Yes! Ever girl should have their own shojo manga, no? There's so many different ones it's hard to choose one. Ah, I've always been a romantic myself, but a romantic comedy is always a good one to read!

[Renge doesn't know this, but she will happily introduce shojo to the willing and the unsuspecting. ;D]

It's just a book...right?

otakufanrenge July 30 2010, 07:36:33 UTC
Not just a book! To call it just a book would be insulting.

It can open up your mind to the endless possible imaginative images that you take in. Not just by your eyes, but even feeling it! It's like you can feel the atmosphere with each turn of the page and the chemistry between characters!

...Do you really think that's a good idea?

otakufanrenge July 29 2010, 17:05:30 UTC
Of course! Why wouldn't it be. They have shoujo manga for girls ten and up. Though she seems pretty mature for her age to also read the other ones too.

[Who knows what Renge has in her collection to expose her too.]

Just make sure they're appropriate topics for her!!

[that was what he was afraid of. flashbacks of Kirimi are a go]

otakufanrenge July 29 2010, 20:38:52 UTC
Well, of course it is. A lot of these I've read when I was her age and I think they're very appropriate. Can't be any different than reading a novel, except you get to see it visually~

[That's probably not comforting.]

[Then again this is Japanese comics we're talking about. Japan pratically feeds this stuff to kids. Hey, Kirimi liked some of the mangas she lent her. 8[]

I've not heard such enthusiasm for manga in a long time.

I'm always excited about manga, especially the newest ones. Of course not any old one will do. It has to have those key elements in it that makes it worth reading!

[;D One being pretty boys in it.]

This is very true. I'm a romantic myself.

Me too!

I was surprised at the pretty decent variety they had. Ah, and turning the pages just make me gush how the romance flows so naturally~!
