long time no update.
Well, random announcement- this LJ is being extended to cover my now growing interest in Western comics/graphic novels.

It is absolutely stunning. Probably the best graphic novel line and current series on the market.
I love the new series from Marvel's Icon line right now.
How much of it have you read so far?

As regards how much I've read, I'm sad to say only two of the series; oddly enough the first, and the...fifth. The reason being is that, on my usual trip to one of my favourite haunts for comic book shopping, I saw volume five and just...had to pick it up. the cover artwork just grabbed me and I hoped that for once, I should judge a book by it's cover. I saw it was volume 5 but also that it could be seen as a self-contained story, so after just briefly looking inside I bought it, and now I'm hooked. It just sucks I'm broke and can't afford to get them all right now.

You should read the current series that is coming out now. It is called THE ALCHEMY and continues right where Metamorphosis (vol 5) leaves off.
So if you liked Metamorphosis you will LOVE The ALchemy which is coming out in single issues right now!
