I didn't start out as Slytherin-friendly as I ended up being, probably because I was generationally younger than my friends in your class. (You guys all have older siblings, and younger brothers and sisters tend to be more grown-up earlier since they're exposed to more, I think.) I only became more of a Slytherin apologist in like seventh grade when I was encouraged to think more deeply about the series and realized that Slytherin =/= evil...
