Summary: Stefan takes Caroline out hunting. AU after 2.03, I guess.
Author's Notes: First fic in a long time, and first in this fandom. Also, it's been a while since I've written in a new fandom. A lot of firsts, OK?

Awww. This was really sweet! I liked your insights into Caroline's character, and I agree, Stefan kind of IS her best friend now. (I forgot her being into him at the start of last season! But I love how her kind-of attraction to him ties into her insane jealousy of Elena, who really kind of does get everything she wants.) And the way he cares about her is so darn cute!

Anyway, great job. And this is the first VD fic I've read, so yay! (Stop making me want to ship this.)

I loved this so, so much! You have great insight into Caroline's character (as Phoe already mentioned) and after last week, I'm totally on board the Caroline/Stefan ship (as well as the Katherine/Caroline ship...hello new crack!)

You've really got Caroline and Stefan down! I adore these two together, and there's not nearly enough good fic out there for them. And the line about Caroline running out of dark eyeshadow was perfect! I love how you mixed humor, like that, with more serious musings, because that's what makes this couple so great. They can be fun together, but they're also so much more than just comic relief. Great job!

Thanks! I couldn't write Caroline's thought processes as 100% serious - it just wouldn't be Caroline! And, yeah, I definitely love that Caroline brings out a lighter side of Stefan. Thanks for the lovely comment. :)
