Well, this is a horribly depressing drabble that I wrote for the multifandom drabble-a-thon. I blame idioticonion for the prompt, as per.

"It didn't mean anything, I swear to God."
"I don't want to hear it."
"It's not as if we agreed to be exclusive." Silence. "Don't pretend you haven't slept with anyone else."
"Yeah, but..."
"But, what? It's OK for you to sleep with other people and not for me?"
He runs his fingers through his hair, shaking his head, trying to clear his thoughts.
"You know I love you. That's the difference."
It's a sudden realization, about the connection between love and sex.
As Barney walked out the door, Robin sat down on the chair, her head in her hands.
