OK, so I'm basically only posting these because idioticonion requested them. I've been toying around with icon-making for a while now, but this is the first batch I've made public. So please tell me if they're hideous.

Thanks! I'm just beginning to make them, so I'm glad you like them.

I used GIMP for the base (cropping, blurring, sharpening, etc.), and then Picnik for the colors and the text.

Never heard of GIMP but I can't use Picnik for anything fancy to save my life. I'm god-awful at it.

Trust me your icons are 100x better than my first ones. Hell they're better than 99% of my stuff. :P Oh well.

Oh, it's from ontd_startrek. It stands for GQ motherfucker, which is a guy who's hot enough to be in GQ. And, well, NPH actually WAS in GQ.

GQMF = GQ motherfucker

Used to describe someone sufficiently well-groomed and drool-worthy to appear on the cover of GQ (Gentleman's Quarterly = men's magazine).

The good people over at ontd_startrek use this term to refer to the actors in the new Star Trek movie (also to themselves), and they write these hilarious, brilliant, expletive-laden rants praising the actors and characters.
