30 Days of Supernatural Days 15-18
So... i totally suck at the whole.. every day thing, anyway, here are the next four days of the meme, and i'm going to link all of them to my tumblr post, but i'll actually post today's here.
Yes, i know they are brothers, yes i know that i am going to most likely lose followers, i just don’t care. Dean and Sam Winchester have the absolute BEST love story of any couple on TV or movie or book, ever. This love story is also CANON. The show ships it, so why wouldn’t I? There are many reasons why i ship these two and when i’m being serious and not funny, ‘it would be hot’ doesn’t even crack the the top 10. for me shipping this is so much more than it just being ‘hot’. Dean and Sam live and die for each other. They’re each others weakness, they’re each others strength, they’re each others entire existence, and they’re each others Soulmates. I’m pretty sure Heaven just doesn’t go around throwing soulmates out there like it’s nothing, and it is romantic soulmates and not familial, because for Adam, the only person he ever knew or loved was his mother, and they didn’t share a heaven. No, Dean and Sam Winchester mean more to each other than just being brothers, they mean EVERYTHING to each other. It’s been shown and proven time and time again. They aren’t just co-dependent on each other, they are erotically co-dependent co-dependent on each other. Want the definition of erotically? Sure, i’ll give it to you, erotically is defined as “of or concerning sexual love and desire: tending to arouse sexual desire” and co-dependent? well that’s defined as “mutually dependent” so in other words the Winchester brothers are mutually dependent on each other concerning sexual love and desire. Yeah, i’m pretty sure that defines a romance. You’d think it would end there but it doesn’t. Dean and Sam Winchester can’t physically live without each other, yes dean didn’t go to try to raise Sam from the dead (again) at the end of Swan Song but that was because his happiness was put in second place to what Sam wanted him to do. I’m sorry, but i don’t know a single brother relationship that has that, but there are a bunch of love stories that do. Also, they go star gazing together and go on dates together, i don’t know of any familial relationship that goes star gazing and doesn’t talk for hours, is just content to star gaze and be with the other person, but the Winchesters do that and did that often. Yes, i know most people are thinking but wincest is ‘wrong’, they’re brothers, how could i? Well, that’s how, because they are more than just brothers, they are brothers by blood, yes, but they are a love story by choice and action. There is something to be said when they are mistaken for a gay couple often, it’s because they act like one.
There are no runners up, because no other romance on the show comes close or has a chance, the boys love each other more than living, living doesn’t matter to them if the other one is dead.
