This completes my collection of military pups!
Air Force: Colonel Jack O'Neill
Army: Captain James Ellison
Navy: Lt. Cmdr. Harmon Rabb, Jr (not in this game)
Marines: Lt. Col. Sarah MacKenzie
(( I also have a former member of the Canadian military - and I'm also probably nuts. ))
Lt. Col. Sarah MacKenzie, USMC, JAG.
Mac had a troubled childhood, with an alcoholic, abusive father and a mother who abandoned the family on Mac's 15th birthday, which was part of what led her to alcohol in her early teens. She ran away at 17, got married, saw her husband go to prison, was in a car accident that killed a friend, hit absolute rock bottom and got herself dried out with the help of her Uncle Matt.
She turned her life around, graduated high school and joined the Marine Corps. Somewhere during the course of time between high school graduation and being stationed at JAG after achieving the rank of Major, she received a bachelor's degree in political science from the Univ of MN and her law degree from Duke Univ, as well as gradutaing OCS and being stationed in Okinawa, Japan.
She doesn't have the best of luck with relationships, but she keeps trying.
She can tell time to the second without aid of a timepiece.
She speaks fluent Farsi and passable Russian..
otherways info:
Canon stands through the end of Season 6 (episode "Adrift Pt 1") - Harm dumped his F14 into the Atlantic Ocean; he and his RIO ejected and are awaiting SAR teams to come get them. In canon, Mac tells the SAR team where to look for Harm.
In this version of events: Mac tried to pinpoint where to find Harm after Skates (Harm's RIO) was picked up, but the SAR team didn't find anything there. Harm is MIA, presumed dead. Mac cancels the wedding and while upset, Brumby doesn't argue about it too much.
While the gang is waiting back at JAG for news, the SAR crews are still searching and Mac is growing more and more distant. By the weekend, she's completely withdrawn and Brumby's given up trying to help her. He doesn't leave for Australia, but he doesn't know what to do for her either. The SAR teams have done all they can, but they haven't found any evidence of Harm in the ocean - no body, no raft, only pieces from the F14, but not even many of those.
Mac clings to the hope that Harm is still alive out there somewhere - picked up by a passing vessel - anything.
Mac will be entering the game during the middle of this weekend - she won't be in good shape. She'll be distraught, angry, on edge, with frayed nerves and a very short temper. She's going to want to drink - she's had a couple glasses already - but she won't be able to.
