Political Punk rock ranges from bands such as the Subhumans and Crass (Britain, circa 1975), hardcore thrash punk like Aus Rotten (circa 1993 - 2001) and finally bands like Against Me! (Current).

this is only a small, uninformed opinion on PC Punk rock, but in reality, most punk bands retain politics. Of course, who the fuck knows what punk rock is now.
