The office is blissfully - if almost unnaturally - quiet as they head in, even the rumble of the door opening to the hub seeming somehow distant. And, thinks Jack, if he's feeling tht spaced out, it is absolutely anyone's guess what Ianto feels like.
He steers the boy to the sofa firmly, and sits him down, eyes tracking over visible bruises with inward icy anger, but without commenting.
