So, a week ago Monday I headed up to the USC Norris Cancer Center to tape an interview for KNBC News about a new breast cancer study.  I was quite fascinated by the topic, as it were:  the study has identified a protein on breast cancer cells that responds to a specific type of deadly chemotherapy (with particularly dastardly and permanent side-

Is this a show that will be broadcast on all NBC channels? If so, I'm SO THERE!

Reminds me of the time I was trying on wedding dresses and yours truly went off to try them in hot pink underwear and black socks. Haha! The women at this hoity toity joint were all peering down there noses at me, cluck clucking away at my lack planning!

It was KNBC, the Los Angeles affiliate that taped me, so I'm not sure if it will be broadcast on East Coast stations or not. Either way, I'm going to TiVo, and probably YouTube it for everyone, then you can even hear my voice!

Today was pretty stagey b-roll footage of me in the park, "working" on my laptop, etc. You'll see.

BLACK SOCKS! Haha! Same here for me with the trying on--my mom felt she had to remind me that I might not want to wear the same type of raggedy undergarments on my wedding day that I wore when we were trying on. Funny. Doesn't everyone have "favorites" that are comfy and others that might be pretty or sexy but maybe aren't so comfy?

Well, I don't know about famous, exactly! I plan to record it on my TiVo, and then put it up on YouTube for my friends that aren't local enough to catch it the first time around. On this side of the Pond, NBC is one of the major television networks nationwide (I'm only saying because I don't know why you would know that), so it's sort of a big deal. There will be a short clip on the station's website next week, so I will be sure to post a link...

hahahaha mrs t u crack me up!! thats so awesome that your doing that. you never really hear too much about the survivors these days, only about whos passed away. i think this will give a lot of people hope. YOU give ME hope mrs t :D miss you <3

We filmed at Peck Park today, me sort of using my laptop at the picnic tables, then me walking in and out of the building. Sort of pretended it was a school, with the kids running by in the background and all... Funny, huh. I miss you, too! I'm bummed that we haven't gotten together yet. I think of you often, and read your livejournal to keep up with what you are up to. We should just make a plan, really.

i know i know i know. this weekends not too good. i have a party to go to tomorrow and on sunday i have dance till 4. but after that i have no plans if you want to get a bite to eat or something. i have so much to fill u in on. so much that i have figured out about myself and what i want to do with my life. and i definitley want to hear how everything has been with you and your hubby!!!! in any case...
